GRANFONDO LA ROSINA, CITY OF MAROSTICA

23TH APRIL 2017, SUNDAY

Marostica-Asiago-Marostica

The start/finish of this event will take place in the picturesque main square of Marostica, a 14th-century walled city famous for its live chess game. Nearby is the well-known climb of La Rosina, often part of the Giro d’Italia and other pro races.

This granfondo offers two courses:

100 km with 1670 m of vertical gain

154 km with 2970 m of vertical gain

Both courses include the climb to Asiago, a mountain resort 1,000 m above sea level, known for its homonymous cheese.

Cyclists on the shorter course will do the climb once, while those on the longer course will climb to Asiago twice, by two different routes.

This event, sponsored by FI’ZI:K saddles, began in 2009 and has continued with great success, attracting numerous cyclists from many different countries.
